SCIENCE STANDARD 3 TERM 1
SCHOOL: DOW VILLAGE GOV'T PRIMARY SCHOOL
TEACHER: VIJAY RAMNATH
This is a single session.
It bridges the gap between standard 3 understanding of fractions and where standard 4 begins.
The big idea: Fractions are more meaningful if we know its value.
To be able to follow along in this lesson students must be accustomed to:
- Drawing bar models.
- working with set models.
- Trying new ways of understanding concepts.
- Multiplying 3-digit by 1 digit
- Dividing 3-digit by 1 digit.
Vowel sounds in some words can lead a writer to make errors.
Practice using contextual passages from which these spelling words exist.
NB - Some of the passages may be nonsensical in nature or non-factual.
If any teacher has a passage to contribute to the course, please email the passage to me at email@example.com
I will be sure to include in future activities within the same course.
This course explores the uses of the comma.
The course begins at the 3rd session. However earlier sessions will be edited within the coming weeks to the unit of work.
If you are interested on working together to produce lessons like this, please let me know. I would try to assist. Hopefully we can build out some of the content needed to ensure an education for our future leaders.
