I know what you’re thinking, “That must be so hard, it’s gonna take me forever to learn this!”

Well Coding Level 2 is going to make your presentations brighten the eyes of your audience. Forget about text and long coding scripts, Coding level 2 uses a programing software called “Scratch”, which was developed by MIT. Scratch uses block coding where you just drag your code block and snap to another to build your program, Yes, it’s that simple. Learn to create sceneries and add characters to create a story. Add animation and simple effects to your characters to make them move and stand out. Also learn to create interactive animated presentations.

Coding Level 2 makes coding very simple and stills teaches conditions and principles of all other text coding languages.

 In order to prepare students for an increasing automated and technology-dependent world, the Ministry of Education considers it essential to infuse Artificial Intelligence (AI) into the teaching and learning process. This can take the form of “consumers of AI”, whereby AI systems are used to improve the teaching and learning process. Additionally, it can take the form of “producers of AI”, by exposing students to AI from a young age in the hope that they may go on to create the AI systems of tomorrow.

This course is the followup to the "Robotics Teachers Training 1 Workshop". (recap included)

It focuses on techniques used in teaching robotics to students using the Lego Mindstorms EV3 kit and software. The methods employed can work with other robotics education kits as well.

Participants should have completed Introduction to Robotics Teachers Workshop 1 prior to starting this course.

Induction: The Teaching of Visual Arts: Intra- disciplinary Approaches

This course is designed to assist teacher pedagogical growth and professional development. Each module uses an instructional, blended learning, scaffolding approach. Towards the development of teachers’ skills, knowledge and competencies in the teaching of visual arts, learning activities are both practical (hands-on) and theory based. By the end of this course, teachers would have experienced teaching to the Arts in authentic, metacognitive ways. They would have also developed an appreciation for the Integration of the Arts across the curriculum. Understandings of visual arts as alternative assessment and informed teacher reflective practice would have also been fostered.
